White House on the possibility of writing off Ukraine's debt: ready to discuss any assistance

The United States is ready to explore various options for helping Ukraine in the war against Russia. This is how White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki answered the question about the possibility of writing off Kyiv's foreign debt.

"We are very open to anything that will help Ukrainians rebuild their country and resist the Russian invasion," Psaki said.

According to her, the White House understands that humanitarian aid to Ukraine will take various forms and is vital in the war against Russia.

Recalling that during the first month of the war with Russia, Ukraine's public debt increased by $ 3.5 billion.

It should be noted that Ukraine's public debt at the beginning of 2022 grew by $ 7.7 billion.
